About Denali Dog Training

Hello, my name is Robin and I am a  small owner-operated business in the northeastern suburbs of Adelaide, I service all suburbs and some country areas.  I come to you. I am passionate about helping people and their pets learn new behaviours and obedience through positive reinforcement techniques. I am focused on science-based positive training methods that are effective, easy,  and fun for you and your dog.

I became interested in dog training when I was 12 and none of the adults in the family would take our dog to obedience classes. So I trained her myself. From this and rescuing a horse with severe behaviour issues from being beaten,  I was encouraged to follow my heart into further study in behaviour and training and eventually established Denali Dog training to help people and their pets prevent and resolve issues with kind science-based methods.

I have nationally accredited professional training through the National Dog Trainers Federation of Australia. This is the only nationally recognised professional dog trainer certification and is the course Lions Hearing Dogs put their trainers through.
I am qualified to teach behaviour modification, obedience, assistance skills and substance detection. In addition, I have done further study online with international trainers and other resources. I have been training dogs and horses using positive methods for over 30 years.
